Benson Butterfield Day - Craft Vendors

We are excited to celebrate a very special milestone — the 40th Anniversary of the Benson Pony Express!

This year’s celebration is especially significant as we honor the history that connects Benson to the Butterfield Stage. While the original Pony Express did not come through Benson, the Benson Pony Express was founded 40 years ago as a way to commemorate the historic Butterfield Overland Mail Stage, which traveled through Benson from 1858 to 1861.

For generations, this history has helped shape the identity of our community. The Benson Pony Express keeps that legacy alive by bringing our community together to celebrate our past while creating new memories for the future.
